Fourteen teams entered Cascade’s July 18 rally. It was a beautiful summer day, with spectacular views along the rally route. Rallymasters Monte and Victoria Saager revisited favorite rally roads in Washington and Columbia counties, ending the nearly 100-mile route in Scappoose. Congratulations to the top finishers: August 15 Saturday Series Rally Yippie yi yo kiyah! The trail winds over mountains and through valleys. Amazing vistas. Astounding scenery. What more could you want from a Saturday Road Rally? Starting in northwest Portland, Cascade Sports Car Club's August 15 rally travels to Willamette Park in West Linn, then heads up Petes Mountain, over hill and dale, to a break in Newberg. Then south, through valley farmland, to arrive in Woodburn. It takes about 3 hours to complete the less than 100-mile route. It’s a beautiful drive with just the right blend of rally spice – not too hot, not too bland. Sign up by August 12.
